Cedar Motors and Nissan Ireland are looking to recruit a qualified Master Technician to join their Network Technical and Customer Support Team based in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to expand their skills, knowledge and experience and excel in an environment that supports their personal and professional development, while delivering industry leading technical and customer support to our dealer network.

Experience Required: Master Technician qualification with proven diagnostic ability in all fields, including engine management and vehicle electrics

Employment Type: permanent / full time 

Location: Dublin (some responsibilities of this role may, from time to time require travel through Ireland and or Europe)

Salary: depending on experience (DOE)
key responsibilities
  • provide technical & customer support to our dealer network and end users. 
  • carry out dealer visits as required in order to expedite the repair of urgent cases that cannot be undertaken by other means.
  • liaise directly with our customers to resolve concerns and ensure maximum customer satisfaction at all times. 
  • carry out dealer visits to ensure our dealer network comply with the required Aftersales standards.
  • attend technical training events and support with the development and presentation of network training as required.
  • liaise with internal departments to support shared planning and mutual understanding.
experience and skills required
  • Master Technician qualification with proven diagnostic ability in all fields, including engine management and vehicle electrics.
  • strong Nissan/Renault/Dacia technical experience is preferred but not essential.
  • very strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative.
  • excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally at all levels.
  • strong verbal and written communication skills in order to deal with customers.
  • strong creative and analytical skills.
  • a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Full driver’s licence is required.
  • high voltage certification is preferred but not essential.
  • customer handling experience would be beneficial.
