^Figures shown are for comparability purposes; only compare figures with vehicles tested to the same technical procedures. The electric range shown achieved using the new (WLTP) test procedure. Figures obtained after the battery was fully charged. Actual real world driving results may vary depending on factors such as the starting charge of the battery, accessories fitted after registration, weather conditions, driving styles and vehicle load.
MASTER Z.E. driving range
With a real life estimated range^ of 120 km with only one charge ensures you reach your destination with no worries!
Factors in varying driving ranges
As with cars fitted with a combustion engine, a number of factors have an impact on your electric van’s energy consumption.
Speed
The faster you drive, the more energy you need to maintain your speed.
Driving style
Use Z.E. Technologies such as deceleration or regenerative braking to optimise your driving range.
Topography
When driving uphill, your electricity consumption affects your driving range. You recover energy when driving downhill.
Climate conditions
Your use of heating and air conditioning affects your driving range.
Technology to optimise your driving range
Discover our connected technology for controlling your MASTER Z.E.'s driving range.
Boost your range
1) Regenerative braking
Slow down, charge up! To optimise the driving range of your Renault MASTER Z.E., our engineers have broken new ground by developing a system that can recover energy lost when decelerating and braking. The battery charges itself when you take your foot off the accelerator and also when you use the brake pedal.
2) Low-consumption tyres
We have equipped your MASTER Z.E. with low rolling resistance tyres for improved performance. They help to preserve your battery's driving range without any effect on your braking capacity and road holding.
3) Fuel saver
We have fitted MASTER Z.E. with a fuel saver so that you always know where you stand. Positioned behind the steering wheel, this tool shows you your driving range in real time and indicates whether you are consuming or recovering energy.
4) Eco Mode
When you activate Eco Mode, you restrain the engine so you can drive even longer (less powerful acceleration and maximum speed of 80 km/h).
Before you set off
5) Renault Z.E. connected services available with R-LINK Evolution
Available using the R-LINK Evolution on-board multimedia system, MY Z.E. Connect applications make electric driving easier! Using your computer, your smartphone or your tablet, you can view your performance and benefit from advice on how to consume less. You can also receive real-time information about the charging status or remaining driving range for your New MASTER Z.E.
6) Pre-heating
The pre-heating system in the passenger compartment lets you programme the heating to come on when your MASTER Z.E. is still on charge. With this function, the energy used for thermal comfort is not drained from the battery.
7) New 7-kW charger
The new 7-kW charger substantially reduces charging times. Your MASTER Z.E. is fully charged in six hours.
