New Laguna GT: Total Performance

Laguna GT introduces the new 4 Control and two exclusive high-performance engines in the form of the diesel 2.0 dCi 180hp and the petrol 2.0 turbo 205hp.

4 Control is an electronically controlled 4-wheel steering system (the rear wheels turn at a maximum of +/-3.5 degrees) developed with Renaultsport.

The Laguna GT comes packed full of additional equipment and features as standard. The exterior is elegant yet has a sporty character with 18" Celsium alloy wheels, specific GT front bumper, black background headlamps and twin chrome exhausts. The impressive GT logo is embossed into the part leather/part alcantara front sports seats, adding to the already impressive sense of comfort and quality. The GT leather steering wheel and aluminium gear knob and pedals highlight the sport design of Laguna GT

HANDLING

New Laguna GT is as easy to handle in an urban environment as it is on winding roads.
Under 60 km/h the rear wheels steer in the opposite direction of the front wheels.As a result the turning circle between kerbs is reduced by 10% compared to a standard chassis,which makes city manoeuvres considerably easier

STABILITY

Above 60km/h the rear wheels steer in the same direction as the front wheels in order to counter the centrifugal effect,that push the back of the car on the outside of the bend.Laguna GT stays very composed and virtually eliminated rolling movements on winding roads

SAFETY

The 4 Control chassis on Laguna GT offers an unparalled level of safety.In the case of emergency or on poor road surface conditions the active drive system will automatically steer the rear wheels up to 3.5 degrees.Laguna GT stays stable under any circumstances giving the driver total peace of mind.
